About Us
Knightdale Baptist Church has a rich history which began over 100 years ago. On March 17, 1901, the church was officially organized with 12 members and was known as Knight's Chapel Baptist Church.
Since that time the church has moved locations, built two sanctuary buildings, and an education building. The image on the right is the second sanctuary which was built around 1912. It was demolished in the 1940's in order to make way for the current sanctuary. One of the wings, however, is still in existence, but has been moved a half block off site and transformed into housing.
